One hundred and fice days after fourteen year old Martin Lee Anderson was killed hours after arriving at a"Boot" Camp in Bay County, Florida, a group of colleges students from Florida A & M, Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University staged a sit-in protest in the lobby of the Governor's Office at the State Capital in Tallahassee, demanding that Governor Jeb Bush do more to pressure authorities to speed up the investigation. The day after the students started their sitdown protest, the head of Florida's Department of Law Inforcement resigned when it was revealed he had delivered racist remarks related to the efforts of the protesters at a staff meeting.
